Nima Naghibi is Assistant Professor of English at Ryerson University in Toronto, and is the author of Rethinking Global Sisterhood: Western Feminism and Iran (Minnesota Press, 2007). She has published articles on representations of veiling in Western discourses, and co-authored an article on Marjane Satrapi’s Persepolis. Her current research interests include the burgeoning genre of diasporic Iranian women’s autobiographical expression in memoirs and documentary film.
